27 people are diagnosed with leukaemia every day in the UK. That’s nearly 10,000 people every year who face the battle against this terrible disease.
At Leuka we invest in ground breaking research to find a cure for leukaemia and other blood cancers.
Until we make this a reality, we are dedicated to translating research into new treatments as quickly as possible, so patients can live better, longer lives.
Our founding chairman was Professor John Goldman, a pioneer in bone marrow transplantation for Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) who wanted to bring the latest research breakthroughs from bench to bedside as quickly as possible. We started in Hammersmith hospital in 1982 and today, we support innovative cancer researchers all across the UK.
With your help, we will beat leukaemia.
