Epilepsy Action

Epilepsy Action - we exist to improve the lives of everyone affected by epilepsy
“I've used Epilepsy Action and they have been brilliant and been there for all my family” – Epilepsy Action helpline user.

Sometimes talking to someone makes all the difference. Our freephone Epilepsy Helpline is a lifeline to those who call. Last year, it was just one way we supported nearly 1.1 million people with epilepsy, their families and medical staff.
Our thousands of members and supporters make us the UK’s voice of people living with epilepsy. We use this strength to fight for a fair chance to get a good education and a job, to receive the right care and to live without stigma.
Your donation will be providing free life-changing advice, campaigning for better services, placing specialist nurses and doing vital research. Thank you.

Which charities can I support?

Donations can be made to any national/local charity or recognised good cause such as schools and scout groups.

You might choose to donate to BT’s own charitable initiative, the BT Supporters’ Club, which seeks to transform the lives of young people through sport. Or you could choose to support one of our charity partners; Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need, ChildLine or Disasters Emergency Committee. Some people choose to support local causes like churches, hospices, schools or animal welfare schemes. Whatever charity you choose to support will receive more money through Payroll Giving than if you were to donate to them directly.

You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations - and you can easily change the amount or nominated charities at any time.  If your chosen charity is not listed on this site you can still support them but please include the charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.  If there is a charity not listed that you would like to see here please email [email protected]
