Crisis
People are being pushed to the brink and into homelessness. By setting up a Payroll Gift for Crisis today, you can help end homelessness in Great Britain.
All of us need a decent home – to be healthy and to thrive. Currently though, this basic human need isn’t being met for so many people across the UK. This is unacceptable. At Crisis we work side by side with thousands of people each year as they find ways out of homelessness.
Our vision is to end homelessness for good.
How do we help?
We work directly with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in 9 areas across England, Scotland and Wales, providing practical one-to-one support to help people access benefits, healthcare services, employment opportunities, and more. Our main aim is to relieve the huge pressure of homelessness, by helping people find safe and affordable homes as quickly as possible.
As well as helping to end homelessness for individuals, we work to address the root causes that push people into homelessness in the first place. We campaign on the political changes needed to end homelessness for good and conduct research to understand and highlight the scale, causes and consequences of homelessness.

Which charities can I support?
Donations can be made to any national/local charity or recognised good cause such as schools and scout groups. You might choose to donate to BT’s own charitable initiative, the BT Supporters’ Club, which seeks to transform the lives of young people through sport. Or you could choose to support one of our charity partners; Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need, ChildLine or Disasters Emergency Committee. Some people choose to support local causes like churches, hospices, schools or animal welfare schemes. Whatever charity you choose to support will receive more money through Payroll Giving than if you were to donate to them directly.
You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations - and you can easily change the amount or nominated charities at any time. If your chosen charity is not listed on this site you can still support them but please include the charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation. If there is a charity not listed that you would like to see here please email [email protected]
