Age UK
Help the Aged provides practical support to enable older people live independent lives, particularly those who are frail, isolated or poor. More than two million pensioners live below the poverty line in the UK, 700,000 older people suffer acute loneliness and half a million older people are facing some form of abuse right now. We offer various services to combat these appalling statistics. We also campaign on a number of issues including poverty, abuse and discrimination. A gift through your pay will help us give older people a brighter future. Thank you.Registered Charity No. 1128267
Which charities can I support?
Donations can be made to any national/local charity or recognised good cause such as schools and scout groups. You might choose to donate to BT’s own charitable initiative, the BT Supporters’ Club, which seeks to transform the lives of young people through sport. Or you could choose to support one of our charity partners; Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need, ChildLine or Disasters Emergency Committee. Some people choose to support local causes like churches, hospices, schools or animal welfare schemes. Whatever charity you choose to support will receive more money through Payroll Giving than if you were to donate to them directly.
You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations - and you can easily change the amount or nominated charities at any time. If your chosen charity is not listed on this site you can still support them but please include the charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation. If there is a charity not listed that you would like to see here please email [email protected]
