Fire Fighters Charity

Fire Fighters Charity

Although accidents and fatalities are, thankfully, now not an everyday occurrence, firefighting and rescue work is still inherently dangerous and firefighters still face physical and physiological problems resulting from the work they do day in, day out. Their families also continue to require support when this demanding career creates difficulties financially or as a result of their family member's injury or illness. The FSNBF exists to support these Fire Service personnel and their dependents who find themselves in need by providing vital services including rehabilitation, recuperation, and sheltered accommodation.

Which charities can I support?

Donations can be made to any national/local charity or recognised good cause such as schools and scout groups.

You might choose to donate to BT’s own charitable initiative, the BT Supporters’ Club, which seeks to transform the lives of young people through sport. Or you could choose to support one of our charity partners; Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need, ChildLine or Disasters Emergency Committee. Some people choose to support local causes like churches, hospices, schools or animal welfare schemes. Whatever charity you choose to support will receive more money through Payroll Giving than if you were to donate to them directly.

You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations - and you can easily change the amount or nominated charities at any time.  If your chosen charity is not listed on this site you can still support them but please include the charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.  If there is a charity not listed that you would like to see here please email [email protected]
