Family Work
We believe it is important to work with the young person’s family in their rehabilitation back into the outside world through:
•Contact with family or next of kin
•Broker between family & social services or employers when necessary
•Opportunity to invite family members to Key4Life events to showcase the achievements of the young people

This fulfils a number of roles:
•Reassurance & support to the family
•Helping with problems & providing an insight to both the family & Key4Life team
•Brings pride to the family
•Helps the wider community

We have been lucky enough to receive support from the Eranda Foundation enabling us to support 22 families in London and Somerset over the last year. Below shows just how the work we do directly effecs the families.

Which charities can I support?

Donations can be made to any national/local charity or recognised good cause such as schools and scout groups.

You might choose to donate to BT’s own charitable initiative, the BT Supporters’ Club, which seeks to transform the lives of young people through sport. Or you could choose to support one of our charity partners; Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need, ChildLine or Disasters Emergency Committee. Some people choose to support local causes like churches, hospices, schools or animal welfare schemes. Whatever charity you choose to support will receive more money through Payroll Giving than if you were to donate to them directly.

You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations - and you can easily change the amount or nominated charities at any time.  If your chosen charity is not listed on this site you can still support them but please include the charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.  If there is a charity not listed that you would like to see here please email [email protected]
