Ovarian Cancer Action

Ovarian Cancer Action

Currently, a woman dies of ovarian cancer every two hours in the UK.

Ovarian Cancer Action is the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity, dedicated to improving the survival rates of this disease.

We do this by funding world-class research at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre based at Imperial College Hammersmith Hospital, by funding symptoms awareness campaigns aimed at women and healthcare professionals, and by giving people affected by the disease a voice, encouraging them to become advocates of the disease with policy makers, healthcare professionals and scientist.

Which charities can I support?

Donations can be made to any national/local charity or recognised good cause such as schools and scout groups.

You might choose to donate to BT’s own charitable initiative, the BT Supporters’ Club, which seeks to transform the lives of young people through sport. Or you could choose to support one of our charity partners; Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need, ChildLine or Disasters Emergency Committee. Some people choose to support local causes like churches, hospices, schools or animal welfare schemes. Whatever charity you choose to support will receive more money through Payroll Giving than if you were to donate to them directly.

You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations - and you can easily change the amount or nominated charities at any time.  If your chosen charity is not listed on this site you can still support them but please include the charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.  If there is a charity not listed that you would like to see here please email [email protected]
