National-Osteoporosis-Society
The National Osteoporosis Society is the only UK charity offering nationwide support to help the 3 million people in the UK who are affected by osteoporosis. Half of all women and one in five men over 50, will break a bone due to poor bone health. Osteoporosis is often referred to as the ‘silent condition’ with many people living in pain. We are dedicated to ending the pain and suffering caused by osteoporosis, and helping people to live the lives they want to lead. We help to provide essential life-changing information via a library of free fact sheets & leaflets. Our Nurses Helpline offers free practical guidance and vital emotional support, we organise education to inform Health Professionals about the condition to ensure they are able to provide first-rate care and we fund ground-breaking medical research.Registered Charity No. 1102712
Which charities can I support?
Donations can be made to any UK registered national/local charity or recognised good cause – including places of worship, schools, and foodbanks.
You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations, and you can easily change the amount or nominated causes at any time.
If your chosen cause is not listed on this site, you can still support them. Just make sure to include their registered charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.
If you’d like to make a difference close to home, you can choose to support University of Manchester students and research, or donate to Manchester Museum. Just look for 'The University of Manchester' on the drop-down menu when making your donation.
Please contact us via the live chat on the bottom left of your screen if you have any questions.
