Alzheimers Research UK
Almost one million people are living with dementia today. Tragically, not one of them will survive. Alzheimer’s Research UK exists to change that.
As the UK’s leading dementia research charity, we are working to revolutionise the way we treat, diagnose, and prevent dementia. And then, we will find a way to cure it.
To do this, we’re investing in the best research, powering the most forward-thinking scientists, and joining forces with world-class organisations. The recent breakthrough of the drug lecanemab has proven that through research we can slow down the diseases that cause dementia. With your support through Payroll Giving, we promise we will not stop until dementia can no longer destroy lives.
We are Alzheimer’s Research UK. We exist for a cure.

Which charities can I support?
Donations can be made to any UK registered national/local charity or recognised good cause – including places of worship, schools, and foodbanks.
You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations, and you can easily change the amount or nominated causes at any time.
If your chosen cause is not listed on this site, you can still support them. Just make sure to include their registered charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.
If you’d like to make a difference close to home, you can choose to support University of Manchester students and research, or donate to Manchester Museum. Just look for 'The University of Manchester' on the drop-down menu when making your donation.
Please contact us via the live chat on the bottom left of your screen if you have any questions.
