Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support

Being told ‘you have cancer’ can affect so much more than your health – it can affect your family, your job, even your ability to pay the bills.

But life with cancer is still life. We get that. And, after over 100 years of helping so many people, we get what’s most important: that we treat everyone as a person, not just a patient.

With your help we can do more for people living with cancer, giving each person the support they need to look after all that matters and take care of their health, protect personal relationships and deal with work and money worries.

We want to help everyone with cancer find their best way through, from the moment of diagnosis, so they’re able to live life as fully as they can. You can be someone who makes that happen.

Registered charity in England and Wales (261017), Scotland (SC039907) and the Isle of Man (604). Also operating in Northern Ireland.

Which charities can I support?

Donations can be made to any UK registered national/local charity or recognised good cause – including places of worship, schools, and foodbanks.

You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations, and you can easily change the amount or nominated causes at any time.

If your chosen cause is not listed on this site, you can still support them. Just make sure to include their registered charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.

If you’d like to make a difference close to home, you can choose to support University of Manchester students and research, or donate to Manchester Museum. Just look for 'The University of Manchester' on the drop-down menu when making your donation.

Please contact us via the live chat on the bottom left of your screen if you have any questions.

Below is a selection of causes you may wish to consider:
