Northern Ireland Hospice (Childrens Hospice Service)

Northern Ireland Hospice (Childrens Hospice Service)

Our hospice care services both in the community and in our buildings provide high quality, person-centred, holistic palliative care. We support and care for infants, children and adults who are adjusting to life living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, up to their death and into family bereavement support.
Our team of specially trained healthcare professionals are made up of nurses, doctors, social workers, chaplains, occupational therapists, creative therapists and physiotherapists, all of whom, work together to support our patients’ physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
Our work also extends to families, enabling us to offer guidance and support to family members as they travel the journey with their loved one.

Which charities can I support?

Donations can be made to any UK registered national/local charity or recognised good cause – including places of worship, schools, and foodbanks.

You can nominate more than one charity to benefit from your donations, and you can easily change the amount or nominated causes at any time.

If your chosen cause is not listed on this site, you can still support them. Just make sure to include their registered charity number so there is no delay in forwarding on your donation.

If you’d like to make a difference close to home, you can choose to support University of Manchester students and research, or donate to Manchester Museum. Just look for 'The University of Manchester' on the drop-down menu when making your donation.

Please contact us via the live chat on the bottom left of your screen if you have any questions.

Below is a selection of causes you may wish to consider:

- The University of Manchester: Greatest Need Wood Street Mission UK-Med - The University of Manchester: Supporting Students - The University of Manchester: Supporting Research Shelter UNICEF - Manchester Museum
