The Dr Hadwen Trust (DHT) is the UK’s leading non-animal medical research charity that funds and promotes the development of techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research.

Founded in 1970, we have awarded grants to over 160 research projects for some of the most advanced and successful human-related techniques in the most diverse areas of medical research including cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, asthma, heart disease and diabetes.
