The Brain Charity

The Brain Charity

We help people with all forms of neurological condition to live longer, healthier, happier lives.

There are over 600 known neurological conditions, which affect the brain, spine and nervous system. 1 in 6 people in the UK have a neurological condition; some are well-known, like stroke, dementia and multiple sclerosis. Others, such as Alice in Wonderland syndrome and syringomyelia are much rarer, affecting only a handful of people.

We are the only UK charity providing specialist support for every single neurological condition. We champion neurodiversity and offer practical advice, emotional support and social activities to anyone living with a neurological condition – and their families, friends and carers too.
