Emmaus
Emmaus supports people who have experienced homelessness by providing them with a home and meaningful work in a community setting.

The first Emmaus community opened in 1992 and there are now 28 communities spread across the UK. There are also four Emmaus groups currently working to open new communities.

Emmaus supports more than 700 formerly homeless people, by providing them with a home for as long as they need it and meaningful work in our social enterprises. There are plans to increase this to 1,000 places by 2020.

You only have to read the stories of some of the people we have supported to see what a difference Emmaus makes.
