Cancer Support UK

Cancer Support UK

Cancer Support UK provides practical and emotional support to people living with cancer, both during and after the treatment period. We support people with all kinds of cancer across the UK.

Cancer Kits
Our Cancer Kits include a range of practical items for adults and children undergoing cancer treatment.

Cancer Kits have been designed by people who have had cancer themselves, to provide practical items that people will find genuinely useful during their treatment. We have Cancer KitsChemo Kits. Comfort Kits and Kids’ Kits, which we can supply free of charge to people living with cancer in the UK thanks to donor support.

Cuddles for Christmas and Easter
At Christmas and Easter we send out warmable teddies to children with cancer in hospitals or hospitals across the UK. Our sensory bears provide children with comfort when they need it most. A warm cuddle will help them through their treatment, which can be isolating and upsetting for these vulnerable children.

Cancer Coach
Our Cancer Coach groups are available to anyone who has completed their physical cancer treatment and is experiencing low mood, anxiety and worry, and doesn’t know how to move forward in their recovery.

The course takes participants through a series of weekly facilitated group sessions, over the telephone or online video. The sessions aim to help people by providing support and coping strategies. Our aim is to help people on their recovery journey, however long it takes.

About RSPCA

The RSPCA is the world's oldest animal welfare charity. Our aims are to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals. We care about all animals: pets, farmed animals, exotics, wildlife and animals used in science - everything from puppies and kittens through to leopard geckos and guinea pigs.

We have 400 frontline animal rescuers saving animals from danger every single day. We also have expert staff in 14 animal hospitals, wildlife centers and animal centres throughout England and Wales. The RSPCA’s Animal Rescue Line answered over one million calls last year - that’s one call every 30 seconds. Our aim is to prevent cruelty and in most cases investigated by our inspectors the welfare of animals is improved by the dispensing of advice and education.
