Sightsavers

Sightsavers

Since 1950 Sightsavers have been working in some of the poorest countries of the world to eliminate avoidable blindness and promote equality of opportunity for blind and visually-impaired people in the developing world.

Working with our local partners in more than 30 countries mainly in Africa and South Asia, we give sight back to people blinded by conditions such as cataracts. We also support irreversibly blind children through schooling and also work to try and give adults the opportunity to support themselves.
