Over 2,300 people in Turkey and Syria have so far been killed after a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck early this morning. The quake is the biggest the region has seen in 100 years.
Thousands have been injured and whole areas have been reduced to rubble. The aftershocks are continuing today, adding to the initial destruction.
Families are now at the mercy of the elements and with snowfall reported in many of the affected regions, our team in Turkey is in a race against time to reach the survivors with urgent relief, including hot meals and winter blankets.
