deafPLUS / visionPLUS supports both deaf and visually impaired people. We do this in the following ways:
- Promoting independence – helping deaf and visually impaired people to choose equipment that will help them in their daily routines, and also help them safe.
- Developing potential – Supporting people into employment, providing skills training and volunteering opportunities.
- Promoting Wellbeing – Providing social opportunities to overcome isolation. Providing health workshops and materials.
- Promoting Change and Understanding – working to improve awareness of deaf and visually impaired people’s needs.
We are a national organisation with five centres (Bath, Birmingham, Whitechapel, Farnborough and Ealling) and two mobile advice centres.

Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK
Make-A-Wish UK grants magical wishes to children and young people who have been diagnosed with a critical illness. Since being established in the UK in 1986, we have granted over nearly 15,000 amazing wishes
Your donation doesn't just help provide a wish to a seriously ill child, it will give the whole family precious time together, creating memories to cherish for years to come. A regular donation of £5 a month will ensure that we can continue to grant the wishes of the hundreds of children who turn to us every year.
