Diabetes UK

As the UK’s leading diabetes charity, they strive to tackle the challenges people face by providing information, advice and most importantly support to those with all types of diabetes, enabling them to learn to live well in their condition.

Types of Diabetes

Type 1 – Develops when the insulin-producing cells in the body have been destroyed and the body is not able to produce insulin. Type 1 diabetes is treated by injecting insulin or using an insulin pump.

Type 2 – Develops when the body makes some insulin but not able to properly work or there isn’t enough of it. Some mange with a healthy diet, physical activities and if needed by losing weight. But the longer you have it the more likely you will need medication.

Fundraising Regulator Payroll Giving

In these uncertain times UK charities need our help now more than ever. Regular donations through Payroll Giving are the easiest way to support any UK charity, good cause or place of worship. Donations are tax-free so a £5 a month donation will cost you no more than £4.

Donations are taken each payday from your salary before tax, which means more money goes to charity.

Payroll Giving is a valuable, long-term source of income for charities. Regular donations help charities budget and plan ahead, helping them make a lasting difference.
