Dementia-UK

All of our work is now focussed on delivering Dementia UK’s strategy 2020-25: specialist dementia care, closer to those who need it.

This strategy outlines our commitment to ensuring that quality dementia care is more accessible to more people, in more ways. We will do this by building upon our existing work, and beginning brand new ways of working, focusing on five key areas of development: the provision of dementia specialist Admiral Nurses in the community; in hospitals; on the Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline; in the workplace, supporting families juggling careers and caring responsibilities, and supporting the companies that employ them; in areas of specialism, reaching out to groups and communities that have specific requirements due to their ethnicity or circumstances; and in our digital offering, ensuring that the life-changing advice of our Admiral Nurses is freely available and accessible to everyone.
