Spinal Research 1151015

Every day an average of three people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed by spinal cord injury.  Paralysis does not just mean being unable to feel or move – it also affects other vital functions such as bladder and bowel control, blood pressure, breathing…

Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding research to develop reliable treatments for spinal cord injury. Recent successes in the laboratory open the way to treatments that will restore sensation and movement to paralysed people.
